Hello LMV8 drivers!
We will start with some rules changes for the 2019 season;

Parc fermé: nobody at the cars + driver does not touch the car
and when checking in the pit box, max. 2 people from their own team
And once again; Technically not conform = DQ
Car too low, wrong tire etc …
Next year we also give you 22 tires for the whole year
and 4 rain tires + 2 extra rain tires for every wet raceday.
New for next year is; All the cars need to have 2 mirrors of 15 cm
This will prevents crashes for sure!
From season 2020 a spotter is mandatory for all cars,
so everyone has to prepare slowly for their own spotter.
In the 2019 season all LMV8 needs to be in a Pitbox.
After the training + race tires check is ONLY allowed in the pitbox,
not in pit lane!
If someone is not present or leaves the briefing before it’s end penalty:
the driver start the first race completely at the back.
The spotters are also mandatory to come to the briefing.
and finally the briefing is always in English,
no more questions in Dutch, German or Russian
(questions can be asked in advance via email)
We never finish the race under full course yellow,
in the last laps of the race we will extend the race as it also happens in NASCAR;
Green, White, Finish
All cars with a seal on their engine,
need to send a email to me with the seal numbers!
Off course iff you don’t open the engine this winter.
And for sure iff your engine has no seal you need to go to the dyno test BEFORE the first race.
In 2019 we want to do an unexpected dyno test with a random car at the end of a race day.
If the car is okay; Raceway Venray paid the dyno test
If the car is NOT okay; the rider will pay the dyno test of € 150, – & DQ all day
Helmet, overalls, race underwear and so on must be FIA approved and fireproof, otherwise that rider may not participate.
Iff you have a spotter / mechanic who will join the LMV8 group?
please send me the name + phone number and i will add the person.
Maik Barten / LMV8 organization
Statement: unfortunately our (race)friend Patrick den Biggelaar passed away,
he was a very important and special person who contributed to the class as he is now.
Out of respect we would like to keep 1 minute of silence for the first race in 2019.
